Inex>Express™

INEX>EXPRESS is ‘facade by the sheet’ and comes with grooves routed into its surface to deliver an authentic timber board appearance without the fuss of having to lay individual decking boards.

Each INEX>EXPRESS sheet represents 5 x 120mm wide individual timber boards, thereby cutting the installation time to less than 20% of what it would be if individual boards were used.

Benefits of INEX>EXPRESS™

Weight

At approx. 40kg or 34kg per sheet INEX>EXPRESS is relatively light weight and easy to handle on site.

High Performance

INEX>EXPRESS can be cut and worked just like comparable fibre cement sheets, but offers improved bending strength characteristics and finish quality. INEX>EXPRESS spans over frame supports at maximum 600mm centres.

FRL, BAL-FZ & Non-Combustibility

INEX>EXPRESS is non-combustible and is approved for all Bushfire Attack Levels including BAL-FZ*, and is certified to a Fire Rating Level (FRL) of 60/60/60.

*BAL-FZ (Flame Zone) is the highest Bushfire Attack Level where there is an extremely high risk of ember attack and burning debris ignited by windborne embers, and a likelihood of exposure to an extreme level of radiant heat and direct exposure to flames from the fire front.

Moisture Resistance

INEX>EXPRESS is moisture resistant and retains its structural integrity when subjected to multiple soak/dry cycles in accordance with clause 8.2.5 of AS/NZS 2908.2 2000 ‘Cellulose-cement products Part 2: Flat sheets’.

Durability

INEX>EXPRESS is highly durable and represents a real alternative to natural or composite timbers. INEX>EXPRESS can be coated to achieve the timber look, without the ongoing maintenance issues of natural timber.

Recyclable and Toxin Free

INEX>EXPRESS is recyclable and is non-toxic.

Mould and Termite Resistance

INEX>EXPRESS is resistant to mould and termite attack.

Value

INEX>EXPRESS is an affordable substitute to hardwood and/or other timber composites. Each INEX>EXPRESS represents 5 x 120mm wide individual decking boards, thereby cutting the installation time to 20% of what it would be if individual boards were used.

Critically, INEX>EXPRESS sheets form the walls themselves and can be fitted onto a steel or timber frame. As such they are not a cosmetic addition to a finished wall as is the case with other such products delivering a similar appearance.

Note: Refer to the Exterior Applications Technical Manual for further information.
